Low Level Laser Therapy Pricelist
Laser therapy is the application of red and near infrared light over injuries or lesions to improve wound/soft tissue healing and give relief for both acute and chronic pain. It is now officially referred to as Low Level Laser Therapy. It is painless, non-toxic, non-invasive and very safe. Laser Therapy is used to:
- Increase the speed, quality and strength of tissue repair
- Give pain relief and resolve inflammation
- The intensity of STL lasers is not high like a surgical laser.
The effect is photochemical (like photosynthesis in plants). Red light aids the production of ATP thereby providing the cell with more energy, which in turn means the cell is in optimum condition to play its part in a natural healing process.

Laser diminish the unsightly appearance of small spider veins. The laser is drawn to the color of the veins and the heat coagulates the small amount of blood in the vessel. The vein has a bruised appearance for anywhere between 2 – 4 weeks. The body slowly re-absorbs the blood. Most veins require about 2 – 3 treatments. This can only be done on fair skinned clients.
Requirements :
| Small veins – the vein must be no bigger than the width of a paper clip. If the vein is larger than this, you will require treatment by a more invasive technique such assclerotherapy. |
Fair skin – due to the high energy levels required to coagulate the blood in the vessel, if you have dark skin you will have blistered and scarred skin.
